4walls — architecture and interior, practising since 1999
Every Nemcon building is drawn with 4walls, our main design and architecture consultant. They describe their work as sustainable architecture in harmony with its surroundings — read in the plans as daylight, cross-ventilation and space that earns its area rather than filling it.
Their studio is on the same road as our office: House 264, Road 19, New DOHS, Mohakhali. Between the two addresses a drawing can be questioned and answered the same afternoon, which is why so little is lost between design and site.
Architecture and interiors across residential, commercial, health care, retail, hospitality and landscape work — from planning and construction documentation through to agency coordination and construction administration.
Visit 4wallsAn academic background in architecture and more than twenty years in practice. He works on documentation, management and cost and time control, and on the part that shows: connecting a building to the nature around it, using every metre of space, and keeping function and appearance in the same argument. Energy efficiency, new materials and building-code compliance are his own stated interests.
Architecture, with a Masters in Urban Environmental Management from AIT, Thailand. Six years teaching architecture at Khulna University and close to twenty years across architecture, environmental questions, urban planning and interior design. His approach is contemporary and neo-modernist — environmentally conscious, economical, and careful with space.
